Turning Bah Humbug To Holiday Magic
When our founder, John Grindle, realized his computer science degree from UCLA and subsequent career in web development was not bringing him joy, he took a leap of faith and started a company focused on team building. Well, not “team building” as it’s traditionally known because trust falls are not something John would ever recommend, but something both simpler and more meaningful he coined, “Team Connecting.”
His natural gift of bringing people together to have fun always led to strangers becoming friends and friends having an amazing time, whether it was a wedding or backyard BBQ. When John realized employees at companies need this same type of interaction to relax, let their hair down, and simply have fun together, his business was born.
The road has not been linear nor easy, but watching the transformation we see in teams from before to after our events really feels like magic.

- Our rock out playing emcee and DJ at ShakeAlert – these earthquake scientists really know how to shake, rattle, and roll!
- Doing our first event with the company formerly known as “Facebook” which was a “Meta” experience for us all
- Playing with Veteran’s Alliance who powerfully serve their veteran clients while also caring for their own team
- Hosting two days of fun for MJH Life Sciences at the Loews Hotel
- Gathering (pun intended) with the energetic group from Gather for two days of fun in the sun
- Providing games for a 500+ in-person event for Qualcomm, our largest in-person event to date
- Partnering with organizational consultant, Consilio, to host Game Shows for Metro Eighteen in San Francisco and Los Angeles
- Seeing the senior leaders at Dexcom fired up for a Game Night at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa
- Partnering with DMC, Leviosa, to host a Game Show with 150+ contestants from Ingredion
- Hosting four Virtual Game Shows within 24 hours covering nine cities, seven countries, and four continents for ServiceNow
Sleighing It
The results (and reviews) speak for themselves and we feel immense gratitude for the privilege of hosting games to connect teams and their members more deeply to each other.
